The mission of MarMo Innovation is to contribute to a healthy and thriving community by supporting innovative programs that create pathways to living-wage employment and foster a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly within Galveston County, Texas.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we run and activate MarMo Plaza — managing the building, curating programs, and providing affordable space and resources for entrepreneurs, artists, nonprofits, and community leaders.

Working from home has its perks, but sometimes you need a change of scenery and MarMo Plaza has been the perfect place to land. The WiFi is fast, the vibe is inspiring, and the free printing? Chef's kiss. The private rooms are ideal for when I need to really focus (no distractions, just big ideas and meetings), and MarMo Cafe & Lounge makes it easy to pop over for a delicious drink or bite when I need a brain break.
It's a fantastic place to work with inspired and energetic staff plus there's always something artistic, inspiring, or fun happening. You can set up and work all day and just walk downstairs and play all night. An absolute GEM downtown.
Thinking of joining MarMo? I have watched it grow and blossom into one of the hottest spots in Galveston. Erica, Hally, and the crew have taken this place to extraordinary heights, and I look forward to what's coming next!
